Build it Back Green in New Orleans – 5 years on

With 29 August marking the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Global Green USA President Matt Petersen called on President Obama to demand BP fund a $2.5 billion “Gulf Coast Clean Energy and Healthy Communities Foundation” thereby helping transform the Gulf Coast into the green coast.

GC Sri Lanka kicks off 6th Green Lane Diary

Green Cross Sri Lanka has kicked off the 6th edition of the Green Lane Diary programme with the distribution of diaries to 5000 students in 46 government schools in the Colombo district.

House of Water and Environment
The House of Water and Environment (HWE) is a Palestinian not-for-profit NGO established in 2004. The goal of HWE is to promote practical research into the current and future state of water resources and the environment in Palestine and across the region. In achieving such goals, the HWE works to ensure that the Palestinians receive a just allocation of water and sanitation services, to help develop negotiations skills for addressing the Palestinian water rights, and encourages participatory approaches in the socio-economic dimension of its activities in order to help improve living standards and poverty alleviation.
